A shell script (bash) based client with a GUI to send messages via 160by2.com. This client allows you to send messages through 160by2.com without having to use a browser and see the annoying ads and popups they've lately introduced.

    my160by2.sh (source download)

The script works fine on any GNU/Linux system with a KDE desktop. In case you're using a gnome desktop, installing the `kdebase-bin` package might work. Only the `kdialog` utility that is provided by KDE is used (for the GUI). Copy the file to a new directory in your HOME directory and grant execute permission to the file.

This program is released under the GNU GPL v3.0 license. Feel free to use, modify and distribute it.

DISCLAIMER: I have nothing to do with 160by2.com. I just felt irritated by the ads and popups on their site and hence wrote this interface for sending SMSs. Note that using this program will not remove the ads that are added along with your SMS. The program only provides an easier interface to their website, without having to use a browser.
